Wooden Jewelry FAQ
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive at Oak and Dale, along with some giggles.
Q: Can I wear my ring in the shower? A: Yes, but we don't recommend it unless you're singing "I Will Survive" at the top of your lungs, and need a waterproof accessory to complete the scene. All jokes aside, our epoxy-coated rings are waterproof, but it’s still best to remove them before extended water exposure to keep them in top shape.
Q: How durable are your rings? A: Our rings are tougher than a lumberjack on a Monday morning! Seriously though, the epoxy coating we use can withstand over 3,000 psi, so they can handle everyday wear and tear without any issues.
Q: Can I wear a wooden ring while operating heavy machinery? A: Absolutely! In fact, we highly recommend it. Metal rings can cause injury around machinery and electricity, but our wooden rings are safe because they will break before your finger does.
Q: Can I wear a wooden ring if I have a metal allergy? A: Yes! Our rings are 100% metal-allergy free, so you can rock them without any worries.
Q: Where do you get your wood? A: We source our exotic woods from around the world, and our domestic woods come straight from our own backyard in Arkansas.
Q: Can you make custom orders? A: Yes, we love a good challenge! Whether it’s a custom ring or a personalized pair of earrings, we’re always up for a unique project. Just shoot us a message and let’s talk about your vision!
